Founded in 1995, eBay is one of the world’s largest online marketplaces, best known for its online auctions and consumer-to-consumer sales. eBay employs over 14,000 people worldwide and generates annual revenues of more than $10 million.

Brief: eBay’s task for me and several other experienced copywriters was to redesign their Customer Service pages in order to ease the pressure on eBay’s Customer Service centres, which experienced a high call volume due to a lack of clarity on the company’s webpages.

Result: Working with a team of experienced copywriters, editors and content managers, I created concise, keyword-focused pages based on UX best practice. These pages were reviewed and approved by senior-level executives within eBay, and now sit within the company’s website, informing customers on a variety of issues, ranging from selling to refunds. These pages include the Seller Centre and Buying on eBay.
